Dear Panthers, I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2022/23 school year here at El Portal Elementary School. Proudly, El Portal currently serves over 510 students in the La Habra community and does so with high achievements such as a Golden Bell Award, California Gold Ribbon School, and a California Pivotal Practice Award. As a No Excuses University, El Portal believes that every student, without exception and without excuse, deserves to be educated in such a way that prepares them for college if they so choose to attend. In addition, through strong communication, trust, and hard work, students, staff and parents are committed to developing students with character, a passion for learning, and a desire for academic excellence.

As Principal, it is my honor to work with such a dedicated staff, wonderful families, and proud Panthers. I know this year will be successful because together "We Believe, Achieve and Succeed".
